Our little gem and favorite piece that was unanimously approved, Allahumma barik.

But what made it so charming? How did it come about? Where did the inspiration come from? What assets does it have to be so quickly snatched up by our sisters?

It's true that in just a few days it became a real must-have!

First, I'm going to tell you how it came to be...

Having been a merchant for years, I ended my selling activity, got rid of my website, my social media, and left everything to make Hijra with my little family.

Just a few weeks later, business (that thing that's so deeply ingrained in me) came back like a little flower knocking at my door!

As strange as it may seem, that's exactly how it happened. My husband came back from the masjid; he was talking with a brother and told him that we used to be in business, a flourishing one, but that we left everything to move. The same brother told him that if we ever wanted to get back into it, there were good opportunities in Egypt! And that we could even go further: create our own clothing brand.

And so, that evening, my husband knocked on the door to come in and suggested the idea... obviously, it only took half a second for me to jump in headfirst, and for this darn business to immerse itself in me again, like an obvious fact, as if it was my Qadr, as if it was the only path meant for me!

Without a moment's hesitation, I recreated social media accounts, shared my project, and in return received the precious support of my old community, may Allah preserve them all.

I started thinking. What would I offer? What particular style interested me? How could I stand out?

I received suggestions from sisters, I listened to their needs, and a Russian inspiration would be the decisive factor: a split khimar would see the light of day, in sha Allah, at Hijrati!

And so, it went into prototyping with a Russian designer living in Egypt (muhajirun), several times, to achieve the perfect result: the famous flower petal look, its ultra-covering and wind-resistant cut.

If I can confess one thing to you, at first, I wasn't really a fan; I wasn't really sure about my product. I thought it would be the piece I would sell the least, to the point where the first production only contained 40 pieces. When I did the photoshoot, I quickly regretted it because I fell in love with it. Al-hamdulillah, the subsequent productions were substantial. Allahumma barik.

LESS FUNNY MOMENT: our khimar, which generated insane enthusiasm, was unfortunately plagiarized, copied, and stolen by a non-Muslim French supplier (nevertheless specializing in the production of Muslim clothing). We strongly condemn this copy, which causes enormous harm to our business and our family.
